About
I started in marketing because I was curious about how people make decisions. Turned out you could build a career around that curiosity — and eventually, a business.
Over the past decade I've moved from marketing into operations and then into commercial leadership — running advertising businesses at two of Finland's most-visited online platforms. Along the way I picked up P&L ownership, led teams of up to 25 people, and got comfortable making decisions where the numbers actually matter.
What's stayed constant is the underlying question: why do people pay attention to some things and not others? That's still what drives most of what I do.
Outside of work I build things — mostly AI-powered side projects. I'm not a developer by training, but I've found that knowing how to distribute something matters more than knowing how to build it from scratch. So I do both.
About ten years ago I ran an experiment: could I make a museum blog go viral? It worked — national newspapers and TV picked it up. The blog doesn't exist anymore, but the curiosity that drove it does.
